The "Croc Tank" at Florida Atlantic!

Wednesday, December 4 at 3:30 pm (doors open at 2:30 pm)

Daymond John, Robert Herjavec, and Kevin O’Leary, aka Mr. Wonderful, right here at Florida Atlantic! The Sharks will share stories never told, then they’re going to switch tanks and enter the “Croc Tank!” As part of Noble Capital Markets’ annual NobleCon conference – that Florida Atlantic also hosted last year with keynote President George W. Bush – the featured event is a LIVE pitch-off with all the drama and intrigue of the ABC hit series. And yes, if they like what they see, they will personally invest! Here’s the best part... The pitches will come from the winning contestants of an Adam’s Center for Entrepreneurship competition – all from our Florida Atlantic ecosystem! Meet the Sharks and cheer on the Owls when they hit the stage!

Donations will be collected until Thursday, December 12

Attention Florida Atlantic students, faculty, and staff: Help us FILL THE BURROW by donating non-perishable foods, clothing, and new toiletries at various locations around campus! These donations from our generous Florida Atlantic community will benefit students in need throughout the campus community and our surrounding area.

Donation Box Locations:

  • Boca Raton campus: First floor of the Student Union, SAI Office (Room 220), and the first floor of each residence hall
  • Jupiter campus: Residence Hall 3 (RH3)

Fall 2024 Commencement Ceremonies

The Fall 2024 ceremonies will be held on Thursday, December 12 and Friday, December 13

The Commencement Ceremony will last approximately two hours. In order to maintain an orderly and dignified ceremony, one that you and your fellow classmates will want to remember, all graduates and their guests are expected to be present for the entire ceremony. The ceremonies will take place at the Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium, located in the Student Union on the Boca Raton campus. Degree candidates should report to the Live Oak Pavilion 1 hour before the beginning of the ceremony. Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive early and allow for adequate time to park and pass through the security screening. For additional important information, please visit the link below:

Night Breakfast

Boca Raton Campus: Tuesday, December 3 from 8 – 10 p.m.
Jupiter Campus: Wednesday, December 4 from 7 – 9 p.m.

In an effort to wish you good luck on your final exams, faculty and staff members will come together with students on the evening of Tuesday, December 3 at the Atlantic Dining Hall (Student Union) on the Boca Raton campus AND Wednesday, December 4 at the Jupiter Dining Hall on the MacArthur campus. Please join us for coffee, fruit, donuts, and other breakfast fare and get some tips for how to best prepare for exams.

With music, give-aways, and good food, it is a fun-filled evening for all involved!

The SPRING 2025 Short Term Advance Application from the Office of Student Financial Aid will open on December 2nd. The application will be available on the Money Matters link on MyFAU under My Resources. Students may borrow up to $750 for purchasing textbooks, other educational expenses, or unanticipated living expenses.

WeLead Registration is Now Open

WeLead: Community Engagement Conference is a one-day experience supporting the attendees' ability to become changemakers by encouraging collaborative leadership strategies within the Greater Florida Atlantic community.

Attendees of the event will:

  • Refine their leadership skills and strategies to facilitate collective action among others
  • Share ideas and best practices related to group and project management
  • Engage in civil discourse about issues facing the Florida Atlantic community and surrounding areas
  • Network and coalition build with other individuals to serve their common purpose
